Privacy Policy for ExactPrint
Last updated: July 6, 2026
ExactPrint is designed as a local, privacy-friendly photo print layout tool. The app does not require an account, does not include ads, and does not upload your photos to a server. ExactPrint uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage and diagnose crashes.
1. Information We Process
ExactPrint may process the following information on your device:
- Photos or images that you choose through Android Photo Picker or share to ExactPrint.
- Local print layout data, such as paper size, unit, image position, image size, crop, rotation, and export settings.
- Files that you choose to export, such as PDF, JPG, or PNG output files.
- App usage and diagnostic data collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, such as app screens or actions, app version, device model, operating system information, crash stack traces, and non-fatal error traces.
ExactPrint does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, account login, contacts, location, camera access, or full photo library access.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above only to provide the app's core features:
- Import selected images into a print layout.
- Let you set real-world print sizes in millimeters, centimeters, or inches.
- Save local projects so you can continue editing later.
- Export printable PDF, JPG, or PNG files.
- Send a print job to the Android system print service when you choose to print.
- Understand which core features are used and diagnose crashes or errors.
3. Local Storage
When you add an image, ExactPrint may copy that selected image into the app's private storage on your device so the layout can be reopened later. Project files and local image copies remain on your device unless you delete the project or uninstall the app.
Exported files are saved only to the location that you choose through the Android file picker. You control those exported files and can delete them using your device's file manager or another app.
4. Data Sharing
ExactPrint does not sell your data and does not share your photos or project data with us for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
App usage and crash diagnostic data may be sent to Google Firebase to provide Analytics and Crashlytics services. Our custom analytics events are designed not to include photo contents, project names, file names, file paths, or exported document contents.
If you choose to print, Android may send the print document to the print service or printer that you select. If you choose to export or share a file, the file goes to the destination that you choose. These actions are initiated by you.
5. Network, Ads, and Analytics
The current version of ExactPrint does not use advertising SDKs or a developer-operated server. It uses Firebase Analytics for app usage statistics and Firebase Crashlytics for crash and non-fatal error diagnostics. The app's core photo layout, local project storage, export, and print preparation features run on your device.
6. Android Backup and Device Transfer
Depending on your Android device settings, the Android operating system may offer cloud backup or device-to-device transfer for app data. This is controlled by Android and your device account settings, not by an ExactPrint server.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete data in these ways:
- Delete a project inside ExactPrint to remove that project and its local image copies from the app's private storage.
- Delete exported PDF, JPG, or PNG files from the location where you saved them.
- Uninstall ExactPrint to remove the app and its local app data from your device.
- Contact us to ask about deletion of Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics data associated with your app installation, where available.
8. Children's Privacy
ExactPrint is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when policy requirements change. The latest version will show the updated date at the top of this page.
