Contact Vault Privacy Policy
Contact Vault helps you export, back up, restore, and review contacts locally on your Android device.
Data the app accesses
The app accesses contacts only after you start a feature that requires them: exporting contacts, creating a local backup, previewing or restoring an app backup, or scanning for possible duplicates. The public release requests contact editing access only after you confirm a restore. Restore adds contacts and does not automatically delete, overwrite, or merge existing contacts.
Data collection and sharing
Contact Vault does not send contacts or other personal data to the developer or a server. Version 1.0 has no account system, cloud sync, ads, analytics SDK, crash-reporting SDK, or internet permission. The app does not automatically share data with third parties.
Local processing and storage
Contact processing happens on your device. Private app storage contains only preferences, limited last-backup metadata (time and contact count, not contact contents or the file location), and safety backups created before a restore. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes this app-private data.
Files you create
CSV, Excel, VCF, ZIP backup, and duplicate-report files may contain contact data. You choose the save location through Android system UI and control any later sharing. Version 1.0 ZIP backups are not encrypted and do not include contact photos or account identifiers. Store them only in locations you trust. A receiving app or storage provider applies its own privacy policy.
Permissions
READ_CONTACTS is used for export, backup, restore preview, and duplicate scanning. WRITE_CONTACTS is used only to add contacts after you confirm restore. Contact permission is not requested at app launch.
Children and policy changes
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. This policy may be updated when the app changes; the effective date above will also be updated.

应用访问的数据
只有当您主动开始导出联系人、创建本地备份、预览或恢复本应用备份、扫描疑似重复联系人时，应用才会访问联系人。公开发布版仅在您确认恢复后请求联系人编辑权限。恢复操作只新增联系人，不会自动删除、覆盖或合并现有联系人。
数据收集与共享
Contact Vault 不会把联系人或其他个人数据发送给开发者或服务器。1.0 版没有账号系统、云同步、广告、分析 SDK、崩溃上报 SDK，也不申请联网权限。应用不会自动向第三方共享数据。
本地处理与存储
联系人处理全部在设备上完成。应用私有存储仅保存设置、有限的最近备份信息（时间和联系人数量，不含联系人内容或文件位置），以及恢复前创建的安全备份。清除应用数据或卸载应用会删除这些私有数据。
您创建的文件
CSV、Excel、VCF、ZIP 备份和重复联系人报告可能包含联系人数据。您通过 Android 系统界面选择保存位置，并自行控制后续分享。1.0 版 ZIP 备份未加密，且不包含联系人照片或账号标识，请仅保存到可信位置。接收文件的应用或存储服务适用其自身隐私政策。
权限
READ_CONTACTS 用于导出、备份、恢复预览和重复扫描；WRITE_CONTACTS 仅用于在您确认恢复后新增联系人。应用启动时不会请求联系人权限。
儿童与政策变更
本应用不面向儿童，也不会故意收集儿童个人数据。应用功能变化时本政策可能更新，并会同步更新生效日期。
